Lunch with Attica Scott

On Thursday, April 20, at 12:00, the Metro Dems will host a lunch with Representative Attica Scott, at the Bristol Bar & Grill Downtown. The lunch will focus on give us an update of the session, answer questions about a special session and what activism she needs to help her. Please RSVP by April 14 to ensure space. Saturday, April 15 – 12:00 to 1:30 at 600 Dr Martin Luther King Pl, 40202 – Tax March – Louisville will rally to support progressive taxation and tax transparency from Pres. Trump and Gov. Bevin, who both have refused disclose their tax returns and their conflicts of interest. Details here.

Tuesday, April 18 – 7:00 to 9:00 at the Louisville Palace, 625 S 4th St, 40202 – Senator Bernie Sanders and DNC Chairman Tom Perez will hold the Kentucky leg of the Come Together and Fight Back Tour. Doors open at 5:30, and expect heavy attendance, so come early. Admission is first come, first served.

Saturday, April 29 – 2:00 to 3:00 at UPike Benefactor’s Plaza, Pikeville, KY 41501 – Join Pikeville Rally for Equality & American Values to stand up for peace, diversity, and love and to stand AGAINST Neo-Nazis and everything they represent. This event is open to people of every race, religion, orientation and class.
